HISTORY

           In october of 2011, Unicamp E-Racing was founded by 8 dreamers, ex-members of FSAE Unicamp (Unicamp's internal combustion FSAE team), who were invited to take part in Brazil's first Electric Formula competition.

           In the very beggining, the electric Powertrain and the batteries represented a great challenge for all. Because of that, the initial aim was to design and build a simple car; but soon afterwards, the team had the opportunity to change radically the whole design.

           Summing up their efforts with the help of sponsors, the team rapidly established itself as international benchmark in the Electric Formula context.
